Day 35. Rushmore, Cosmos and a crazy horse.

Three things on today's menu. First up is Cosmos that is a cabin build on a hill-side. Once you are in the cabin the design of the cabin tricks your eyes into believing that the cabin is straight up and down, but your balance tells you that something's wrong. It really messes with your senses.

Next up is Mount Rushmore. This one charges 11 $ just to park the car do we just drowe by slowly and took a snap.

A much more interesting statue or sculpture is the one of the Indian - Crazy Horse. The statue is also carved out of the mountain. It's been worked on since 1977 and it's about 10% done. It seems like it will take at least another 100 years before its done.

We ended the day by driving towards Devils Tower further west - was planning to arrive and see it today, but Crazy Horse had other ideas - ended up spending a lot of time there. :-) Devils Tower will be for tomorrow.
