Day 23. Washington. - For the last time.

We wanted one more day to look at some more museums. Since we are ahead of schedule, (we raced through some of the middle states a bit faster than planned) we can spend some more time here.

Today menu was the Holocaust museum. It's an important museum and leaves you in a sad state. Very good exhibition and many many visitors.

We finished off with the Museum of Natural History that have a huge collection of stuffed animals, dinosaur skeletons and human figures from different ages. They had a very well done models of some of the early human species that you can see on the pictures. Very impressive museum and a lot of fun. Very large too. At the end, we just started marching through the rooms in order to finish before they close.

We left Washington in the evening and drove north/east towards New York.
