Day 28. More New York Final v2 Master

Today we went to see a bit of the skyline from the water. A picture of the nice clean beach at the harbor is included. A small ferry took us close to the statue of liberty, Brooklyn bridge and back again. Nice.

The night before we passed ground zero, but too late so we went there after the ferry-trip. They have basically made two pools where the old towers where standing. Lots of people and lots of security. ;-)

A cool detail was "The Survivor Tree" - the only tree to survive 9/11. It have been living some years in central park after the attack, but is now back on the grounds together with a lot of new upcoming trees. Maybe they will become a celebrity tree once as well ;-)

We decided to take the subway to Coney Island. It's a little Tivoli/theme park at a beach. Walked around among all the booths and rides until they closed and we went back to the hotel and dropped dead. :-)
