Day 34. South Dakota.

We decided that we just had to get it done. South Dakota. Tons of straight road - lots of miles to cover and we are a bit behind schedule. Pedal to the metal.

We did pass a bit of nice stuff though. Fort Thomson was nice. An Indian reserve at a lake - beautiful. Forgot to take pictures though.

We found a burger place in the middle of nothing that had some super burgers. Ohoy!

Later we passed "Badlands" - really beautiful creation by nature. It's the first real wow since new York. The nature in the west is truly amazing. We stayed here until after sunset and went to Rapid city. Here we found a motel and had a much needed shower and a soooooft bed for the night. Tomorrow it's mount Rushmore and some more tourist traps. ;-)
