Day 17. Cumberland Falls.

A trip without a visit to a waterfall - would be a - waterfall-less trip. So we went to Cumberland Waterfall in Kentucky.

There was a lot of water - and then an interesting warning about black bears. We are almost hoping to meet one. That would make it a really unforgettable visit. ;-)

We also stopped at KFC. Why should that be interesting? Because its the first KFC - the one that Colonel Sanders opened himself and where he came up with the special seasoning that made KFC a success. There also was a small exhibition where we could see how the kitchen looked like at those times. It's a bit wired place to stop, but kitch enough to make it fun.

The landscape looks very nice here. It does remind me a bit of my home island in Denmark. Grassy, lots of forest and small hills and sleepy towns.

Before sunset we passed "The Natural Bridge". It's an arch made out of stone an apparently, nature have made this bridge itself. It seemed very solid so we walked a bit on top of it. Sure enough - it didn't brake. The view from up there was fantastic! :-)
